All clubs or groups will enjoy no interference, you can run your own club or group with no politics!

All Kyu grades and Dan grades will be recognized

It is  hoped that together we can move forward and focus on Traditional Karate with the well-being of all students foremost.

There will be no charge to join at the moment, however should we see membership in numbers over the next few months we will charge £20 per club year, students will pay nothing. The £20 charge will cover Registration, Newsletter, Calender of Events etc

We look forward to hearing from you

Together we can develop a membership with the same ideals, the same focus and the same desire to preserve our Karate as Traditional Karate - a Serious Fighting Art! OUS!

HANSHI GERRY BRYAN

Hanshi Gerry Bryan is the founder and chief instructor of Tsuyoi-Ryu karate and The Traditional Tsuyoi Karate Association.  Hanshi started karate in 1964.  Initially starting in Shotokan Karate under Jess Williams, he then changed to Kyokushinkai karate.

Hanshi passed to Shodan black belt in 1972.  He taught karate in New York. U.S.A. and lived and taught karate in Greece for six months.

In April 1975, Hanshi opened up the first Tsuyoi Karate Club and registered it with the Amateur Karate Association, and with the opening of further Tsuyoi Karate Clubs, the Tsuyoi Karate Association was founded in 1976.

Hanshi has trained with many top karate fighters and instructors; some of these include Terry O’Neil, Gary Spiers, Rick Jackson, Steve Cattle, Mick Lazelle, George Mckensie, Tyrone White and Alfie Lewis.

In 2007 Hanshi changed the name of Tsuyoi Karate to Traditional Tsuyoi Karate.  This was to identify his own style of karate from other clubs that have used the name "Tsuyoi" for their own styles.  Hanshi Gerry Bryan and Traditional Tsuyoi Karate are not associated with Kent Karate School or NAKMAS.
